Driving Directions

From Billings, MT

Take I-90 East (stay to the right) to Hardin and get off at Exit 495. Go right off the ramp and south on 313 about 45 miles. You will pass through St. Xavier about 22 miles past Hardin. After the post office there take a sharp left and continue to follow 313 South…you will see signs that say Yellowtail Dam. Follow another 15 miles…you will cross over a cattle-guard (a metal grate across the road).Big Horn River View Lodge and Cabins is 1.2 miles on the right. You will see our sign with a metal FISH on top. We are at mile marker 40 on Highway 313.  Turn right into the red rock driveway and you have arrived. Our phone is 406-666-2550. If you get to the town, you have gone a little too far.

From Sheridan, WY

Take I-90 North to Exit 530 in Lodge Grass, Go left at exit and follow for .9 mile. Bear left at Bighorn IGA across from the railroad tracks and follow the road for 5 miles. There is a small sign that says Fort Smith, take a right after the sign and follow that road for 18.7 miles to the end of it. (It is open range so be careful for animals on the road.) Go left and follow for 13.8 miles. That is route 313 South. You will see our sign with a metal FISH on top. We are at mile marker 40 on Highway 313. From Eastern Montana and North Dakota

Heading west on I-94, exit at Custer and take Highway 47 South to Hardin.  In Hardin, Highway 47 turns into Rte 313.  Follow 313 South. You will pass through St. Xavier about 22 miles past Hardin.
